Hey Tara, I am starting to get back into Yoga and I wanted to know if u had any nutrition/diet tips to kick start my way into being healthy again. I’ve recently quit smoking cigarettes and I want to detox as well, and I’ve heard about drinking lemon juice. I was wondering if you knew about anything else.

glad you quit smoking! I’m not big into detoxing diets and “cleanses”. Try to drink a lot of water during the day, carry it with you, that sort of thing, and eat more greens and fruits and veggies. like michael pollan says, try to eat things that you can also eat the container they came in :)

hey tara, i have been doing yoga for a while, and im active, i run everyday and try to work out at least 5 days a week. But even though i have been doing yoga for more then half a year, i cant seem to get very flexible, which i need for the sports im playing. I think i have pretty good form but i still cant get the flexibility i want. Do you have any tips for me?

I never knew that was what the block was used for! Or rather, that was one way to use it… Also, for the ppl saying yoga is too relaxing, new studies suggest that people who practice it make better decisions when it comes to eating healthy and in moderation -> leading to weight loss. Try it before you bash it people. And Tara is healthy looking.
