I think everyone has forgotton how to be normal humans. We need food to survive not to fill time and taste awesome. Think of native americans inventing and then eating devils food cake. Bit rediculous right…..now think whens the last time you had some. catch my drift……

Easy yes, but not always cheaper. Its all about choosing right products and having strong will.

Easy yes, but not always cheap. You just need to find right products. Its all about strong will to prevent yourself from eating junky food.

Agreed, it’s quickly climbing all over the world’s devoloped countries, let’s hope everyone stops stating their opinion on what is the fattest nation and start voicing their opinions on what we can all do to encourage healthier lifestyles.

that is a common misconception. LArger people have a fater metabolisim, because it takes the body more effort and time to burn the large amounts of fat that they’re body holds. Small people usually eat the corret amount of callories and the right kind of foods. So their body uses those calories and digests the nutrition. Unlike overweight people.

I will never understand what’s so difficult about not eating as much. Here’s a trick, if you’re hungry and you know you’ve had enough, get something to drink instead. Make sure it’s water or fruit juice, not a soda. You’ll lose plenty of weight that way.

You dont have to exercise to maintain a healthy body. Don’t drink carbonated beverages or eat chips when you are hungry. Instead prepare yourself healthy meals that are high in protein and low in fat. Also that McDonalds double cheese burger wont even put a dent on an obese persons hunger. An obese person needs about 5 of those tiny things + fries + a large pepsi to be satisfied.

in europe the child obesity rate is quickly climbing……

Actually this is a proven fact that America is more obese than the rest of the world. It is also a proven fact that it costs more to eat healthy. Example: McDonalds double cheeseburger .99 cents but a salad is close to $5.

I wish I had the extra time every day to make sure I could excersize but unfortunately after working a 10 hour day and being a single mom to a 6 year old and a newborn excersize is not on the top of my priority list. I would rather relax or maybe sleep. By the way congrats to all the people who have high motabolism and dont have to worry bout gaining weight God blessed you with one less struggle but there is something else to come. Especially to those who judge! God bless and good luck!

Seriously? You say that as if all the fat people happen to live in the US. I’ve seen some fatties in Europe, and in South America. Must not just be us!

I think both cases have there own problems. Obesity is much more common than anorexia, to the point where there are people who have a genetic disposition to being heavier than others. Whereas anorexia is a complete psychological disorder. I do agree with you, though. Simple dieting and exercise is a sure fire way to keep a healthy weight.

I agree. I’m 5′5″ and I weight about 200 . I’m chubby but I;m not fat. Or obese. I’m actually obese on internet calculators but, I’m mostly muscle..
