I’m 20 at the moment and I lost a great deal of weight when I was 15. This left me with alot of loose tissue on my stomach and a fair deal of stretch marks.

As for the excess skin, in 5 years it has greatly reduced, however, there is still a reasonable ammount there and it is still a problem, very toned abdominal muscles will help lift the guts back in and the skin firms up a small ammount, but only because of the muscle, it’s not permenant. My only option now is an abdominoplasty.

LOL! “The cell says, ‘I’m not opening up–you knock too much!’” Love it! I’ve never heard insulin-resistance explained so well! You are so educated and well-spoken; you have great knowledge and really know how to disseminate that information for the many different learning styles. I FINALLY know why (back in the day) I would spend HOURS in the gym and not lose an ounce/inch. Great videos!

So how do you turn that around? If you’e made your body not react well to exercise than how do you switch it around?

Good job man! So what is the right way to exercise? If someone wanted to get healthy so they could lose weight, what are the first couple things they should do? I’ve noticed that I always wake up more tired than when I go to sleep. Is this normal at all? Or is sleep actually supposed to rejuvenate me and give me energy? I actually don’t starve myself or exercise a ton or even try to lose weight because I can’t put any on, but I still have lots of stress. What can I do about that?

Wow, dude you really know what you are talking about. I think I will be a subber. Thanks for spreading your information. We are a FAT nation not PHAT..lol – get this I’m about 30 pounds overwt. I was thinkin I’m just a thick sista what’s wrong with that. Well found out that I have HBP and Diabetes and now on meds. If I just lose 30 pounds I will no longer have to take these 5 pills a day. So I am so on board of what you are saying – preach Amen

It’s not strictly down to any single factor as I’ve been told by the doctor, nor is it exactly down to losing the weight so quickly. Many women after childbirth have lots of loose skin, it often tones up no problem. It’s different for every individual apparently, or at least thats what the Doctor told me. Ofcourse the last thing any GP would suggest is cosmetic surgery in any case. It’s something I’ve decided, and may not even get the opportunity if the NHS aren’t happy with my case.

bummer. i have worked so hard for so long to get to a healthy weight and look good so that i can feel comfortable taking my shirt off at the pool or the beach or any place else for that matter. i can’t afford surgery. do those sauna belts work at all? how about fat burners? i am in no rush but having some hope for the future would be great motivation and a reasoning to the madness. how are the “Biggest Loser” contestants getting the skin under control?

( DXb) How, other than surgically, can you get rid of the skin? I need to get down to a healthy weight but the thought of extra skin is putting me off (sounds silly, i know, but it is)

For the stretch marks, search for this youtube video: ‘TonyaTKO vanish stretch marks’

Is that true? Slow weight loss means no saggy skin?

I need all the information I can get on how not to get saggy skin from weight loss. I need to get to a healthy weight but the thought of saggy skin is too off putting

Hey Sean. Have you checked out Tim Ferriss? His new thing is something I think you need to put in check.
