I wholeheatedly agree with you!
Since cutting out so many chemicals in my food, I’m sleeping better, my skin has cleared up, my moods are better, I’m thinking more clearing and I’ve lost some weight in the process!

I agree with everything this lady is saying, but if you think that the over 90% of the population that is over weight in this country is going to do what she says, you are wrong.
It would be nice if people would, but in this fast paced society, it is just a pipe dream.
So there is a need for “Cheat”ing.

When marketing, I do believe it would make more sense to promote a product that most likely contains chemicals with media that is not against chemicals. Unlike this video, which is discussing removing chemicals from a person’s diet. Besides, if you want to eliminate 25-30% of fat and calories from your food, you can always cut the portion you’re eating down by 25-30% then usual. Which is rather simple. Instead of a full can of peas, eat 3/4 of the can. No need for “Cheat”ing.

Yep, I heard about that. I know artificial sweetners are horrid for you, which is why I have reduced my intake of them. :)

Obesity around the world is staggering. To share with you all, I have recently found a product called cheat. Just sprinkle this on your food, and it reduces 25-30% of the fat and calories in your food.
Stop by and send me a note and I can explain it to you.

But..if a person drinks diet soda, the chemicals are harmful for the body. (There is not enough evidence for the weight gain theory when I have seen so much that contradicts it)

Ah, I see that you stated that they are going up, my apologies. But they are almost just as bad as American ones.

It had lead me to the conclusion it depends upon the person. The European obesity rates are on par with the American ones, easily. You are right that it is much healthier to eat whole foods, raw foods, etc.

Miss, you have not checked the obesity statistics, European obesity rates are skyrocketing. About the diet soda thing–there have been studies that have proven weight loss with a healthy diet. It is a theory that the diet soda increases appetite and thus causes the user to eat more. I have heard of people who lose plenty of weight with diet soda as opposed with sugary sodas-to those who have gained weight on it. Just like with certain drugs like Prozac, which is not know for weight gain.

agreed. weight watchers isn’t any better than any other… chemicalized food. i’ve tried weight watchers numerous times, but it takes way too much energy. i know how much i have to limit and the healthy foods i need to eat. no one needs a plan. they just need common sense. and to be informed. :)

Yes. I agree loveyou83834. Annoying accent aside (that voice grates like cheese that has ingredients I can’t pronounce), I am all for organic food, but I think it’s important to find out what you are preaching before you preach. There are plenty of natural things that have long names. She keeps saying “What is that?!” FIND OUT. Get the facts. Do the research. “THEY have discovered”, is not scientific evidence. Just some organic food for thought.

You are so right about the chemicals and their connection to weight gain. I am in my early 40s and I was brought up on whole foods for the most part and I can say that so were most of the kids I knew. There may have been 1 or 2 overwgt kids in school at the time. I have noticed alot more overwgt kids in school to the point that it is almost considered normal! SAD!

Read In Defense of Food, or really any book on preventative medicine and nutrition. You’ll find what she is saying is absolutely and totally true. You can lose weight by eating “low fat” foods with the preservatives in them. However, you will not be getting the full benefit of weight loss because you will still be setting yourself up for chronic diseases and damage to your metabolism by consuming those chemicals and preservatives on a daily basis.

Ride a bike
Walk
go to the gym
eat only 5 different foods until you lose the first 10 pounds

this is what i did
-steam broccoli
-6 inch subway sandwich
-bananas
-burritos
-raisin bran
-milk
1 gallon water every 24 hours
good luck!

keep it simple!
