How effective is cocaine for weight loss?

Posted on 31. Mar, 2009 by admin in Questions about Weight Loss

Don't automatically assume that I'm referring to myself and come off sounding ignorant and full or prejudice. Over the course of several months, how effective is weight loss if small doses of cocaine are taken every other week combined with exercise? And, what weight does it tend to target first? (fat located on the stomach, thighs etc)
I highly doubt you'll lose 3 pounds from your head, as the human head weighs 8 pounds total and there's no weigh to lose that much unless you get a lobotomy. Nice attempt at wit though.
By the way, I don't need to lose weight.
Would it really be that bad to mix it with exercise? I don't think it'd cause heart attack that quickly, isn't it more of a long-term thing?
It's for health, and it is an option. We're learning about extreme weight loss, as it's been one of the media's target for a while now. Seeing that cocaine seems to be virtually everywhere in Hollywood, the same place where there is alot of anorexia and bulemia it was an easy connection to make, especially when you see emaciated stars on the cover of magazines.

I am going to assume that you're asking this question for a summer class paper. The overtone in your question indicates this.
Cocaine doesn't get to the weight loss before it gets to the burn off of brain cells. A cocaine addict is so gone out of their mind that food is a very very very forgettable commodity. Cocaine takes center stage in a person's life, instead. From the lack of food consumption is when weight loss occurs, but not before killing brain cells. That takes effect from the very beginning. Cocaine starts doing its job and then the domino effect begins.
To answer your question, it's very effective, but at a high price as you will experience a host of physical and mental issues that will, for sure and without fail, accompany. Since there are a multitude of other routes for weight loss, I would find this "option" highly suspicious–an excuse to sort of include it as a vehicle to weight loss.
I would really question the motive.
BUT….I am still going to assume that this is for a legitimate school project.
I hope this helps some.

Mind you cocaine is highly addictive and can have a detrimental effect on your system.

I think it targets brain weight first. :)

It doesn't target fat. You just don't eat because your body is in shock and it speeds up your heart rate – it kills brain cells faster than it makes you lose weight! Just one small dose of cocaine can land you in the hospital, jail or worse. You don't have to worry about what you weigh when you are dead!

Cocaine shouldn't be something that you would want to use for weight loss let alone anything else. You should try doing it the healthy way without drugs. If you use the cocaine to aid in your weight loss you will only be adding to your problems. After losing the weight you may have an addiction to deal with and I don't think that is something you are wanting to do. Try excercise and dieting first before resorting to illegal drugs. Good Luck!

very effective if your willing to give yourself all kinds of other health problems, including brain damage, heart attack and even death. get a clue and exercise!!!! I'm not assuming that its you, but be smart!!!

Please forget about cocaine. It is too dangerous and can lead to heart attacks, especially if you suffer from high blood pressure. Do some Internet searches for cocaine + effects + dangers and hopefully you will learn more.

Usually, it targets fat in the stomach, but leaves undesirable effects. Like holes in your nose, opening your sinuses and causing extreme pain. Also, it wrinkles the skin. Losing fat and replacing it with muscle (like excercise) Makes it look smooth. With nothing to replace the fat, it looks all wrinkly.

Sorry it would not be very effective. Cocaine only suppresses your appetite for a very short time and then you would want more and more. It might last like 20 Min's at a time. The real bummer is after wards you want to eat. Good luck

well it certainly reduces your appetite , but mostly only when your actually on it.

as for it actually having an active fat burning effect, seems very unlikely to me but hey im no chemist!

using it purely to stimulate exercise and help you train better would be a bit stupid because amphetamine-based drugs could do it better and at an absolute fraction of the price.

now Speed, that is one illicit drug that WILL make you lose weight, you can't eat when your on it and normally not the next day either, very powerful appetite supressant. would totally mess you up physically and mentally eventually though ,because of lack of sleep, come-downs etc

being a college i have seen cocaine use help females become thin, mostly when it is abused. If used while exercising it can be very dangerous because it speed up your heart, mix that with exercise and a heart attack is not out of the question. but if someone wants to be skinny now and not care about long term social and health affects go for it…. PS health affects are not a question they will occur. i would try weight loss pills first.

Forget coke, it does nothing but temporarily supress your appetite. Adderall is like semi-legal speed, and even SOME very sketchy doctors presribe it to overweight kids to shed some extra pounds. Works like a charm. Or so I hear.

That is totally ridiculous! Did you know that cocaine has high amounts of gasoline when it's made. And then it dries to a fine white powder. Maybe you should just inhale gasoline..

Just try hydroxycut or some other diet pills, but if you want to kill yourself, do the coke..
