In Sean’s book, the lesson is PLANNED for you to increase your weight while gaining muscle…
If you want to increase your body weight, simply do the exact opposite of what you’d do to get thin, consume about 115% of your normal caloric intake, thus putting up weight, now, if you combine that with exercise and get your extra calories from a good source(see the e-book for that), you’ll get your results in about a month…

Also, it is VERY IMPORTANT you have in mind, that every effect on your bodyweight will show itself about A MONTH after you change your diet, so don’t panic if you don’t get immediate results…
If you need any other advice, just let me know

I still don’t fully understand the relationship between fat and calories. I was checking out the nutritional values on a bottle of olive oil and noticed that the fat content is very high compared to the caloric content; every 100ml contains 91.4g fat and 823kcal.
For argument’s sake, if I were to consume 350ml of olive oil daily, my intake of calories would fall within my BMR requirement of about 3000, but my intake of fat would amount to a whopping 319.9g. So… would I gain weight or not?

I have a little trouble figuring out what my exercise level is. I went with moderately active and did the calculations and ive never felt so starved. I paint during the week and do about 4 hours of farm work on the weekends. Now this is no INTENSE exercise but doubled with my lifting ( 4 days a week) what would you consider my category to be?

The formula looks a little complicated at first, but once you understand, you will really start seeing results ! Great video Sean, 5 stars !

Dear bevon17:
As both Sean Nalewanyj and Mike Weary’s books state, less is more, you don’t need to exercise a lot, you just need to have proper feeding, your body has a caloric intake, which you can calculate with several formulas, if you consume 300-500 calories less than your intake, while exercising no more than 4 times a week, and with a maximum of 1 hour duration, it should let you lose weight properly.
I look forward to seeing your results.

@MatuShazz
I go to boxing 4 times a week for 2 hours
then the gym for about 30 mins to run
I can’t lose weight and its annoying
I weigh 130 ,, I’m 5′2 in hight and was bulimic for about a year.
I’ve gained about 5-7 pounds and i really want them off
I feel like my stomach is huge and I’m trying really hard not to starve my self or fall back into throwing up my food..
its depressing. and sometimes it makes me not want to leave the house.
I don’t know what to do.

Hi sean nalewanyj, im currently taking your up your electronic lesson, and i was wondering, well im really thin, and most of these tips and videos, are pretty much just for fat people, what about the slim ones, its actually much more harder for me, to gain weight than to lose weight i lost alot of weight in highschool in about just 1 month, yet it feels impossible to regain the weight i once had, pls help me

putting on weight is a walk in the park man. Just keep eating food and get drinking protein shakes.

Here are Sean’s basic guidelines:
1) Train no more than 3 days per week.
2) Do not let your workouts last for longer then 1 hour.
3) Perform 5-7 sets for large muscle groups (chest, back, thighs) and 2-4 sets for smaller muscle groups (shoulders, biceps, triceps, calves, abs).
could someone please tell me those sets are for 1 time per a week or 3 times per a week. please.. (i mean if 5 sets for chest it would b 15 sets for 3 times per a week?)
